SEAN SULLIVAN PHOTOGRAPHY
Sean K. Sullivan is a talented Fine Art Photographer residing in Waltham, MA, who specializes in creating visually compelling images with bold colors, intricate details, and strong lines that captivate the viewer. His latest series, Eighty-Sixed, showcases abandoned structures at night using long exposures and light painting techniques highlighting their dilapidated state. These deserted places serve as a reminder of the loss of identity, family, and time. In his previous series, Classic Style and Patina, Sean captures the beauty of classic automobiles, focusing on their unique details and lines.
In 2017, Sean was one of the top 200 selected photographers for Critical Mass, and in 2014, he was recognized as an Emerging Artist by Panopticon Gallery. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts, Griffin Museum of Photography, PhotoPlace Gallery, Danforth Art Museum, The Curated Fridge, Darkroom Gallery, Panopticon Gallery, Plymouth Center for the Arts. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Northeastern University, where he minored in Photography and studied under Neal Rantoul, Tom Petit, and Larry Volk.
